Bryan and I signed our lease on Friday! I took Friday off, after we signed our lease we came to my apartment and started packing and getting rid of my stuff. I am donating three boxes of books to the library along with about a box worth of video tapes. Of course, now there are a few books that I'm not sure that I really want to get rid of. At least Bryan hasn't taken the books to the library. :) Yesterday, we packed up winter clothes and winter shoes. I also have more than a box of clothes to donate. I also sent a big box of yarn to a women's pre-release in Washington state.

Friday night, Bryan and I went out to dinner with Meredith and we also ran into Brandi and Toby who were celebrating their 6-year anniversary. Saturday night, all five of us, including one of Meredith's friends went to see "Spellbound," which was excellent. This morning, Meredith, Bryan and I went to breakfast together. Meredith had never been to the Chicago Diner and we wanted her to go with us. Bryan went back to his place in the suburbs and I spent part of the afternoon watching several "True Hollywood Story" on E!, it's "Child Stars Weekend". :) Then I went shopping at Whole Foods with Meredith. I came home and made oatmeal raisin cookies from the Chicago Diner cookbook, they have NO sugar and came out really well. :) Tonight it's been an evening of surfing the internet and watching more "True Hollywood Story." :)

About a week ago, Bryan and I paid our security deposit for an apartment in Arlington Heights, Illinois. It's about 6 miles from work for me and about 12 miles for Bryan to the library. :) We sign the lease this Friday.

I worked on my website last week and Friday night to update it. A few of the pages are finished, others need to be completely revamped. The pages I've updated are films, music, photos and I've started working on the literature page. My goal is to finish all of the work on my website by the time I move in July.

Saturday, Brandi and I went and I tried on three dresses at Marshall Fields. One was a dress that I really liked in the photo but it was too plain on me. I also tried on two dresses that I tried on when I was with my mom in early April. I still really like the first dress that I tried on. My only complaint about it is that if I have it made in silk mikado fabric it will still be a "column" dress and I want the same top but with an a-line skirt. I'm going back to Field's with my sister and Brandi on the 31st for the Christos trunk show and I'm going to see what can be done then. :) I love the top of the dress, Brandi said it's the dress she would have picked out for me. :) I saw the dress as soon as my mom and I walked into Field's in early April. The woman helping me said on Saturday that she really thinks the dress picked me. :)
Here is a bridesmaid's dress that I really like. I'm not making any major dress decisions until I see them on Brandi and Meredith and until November because then all of the fall dresses will be out.

I also showed Brandi what I've picked out.
Dishes - Villeroy and Boch Twist Anna, Bea and Clea
China - Murray Hill
They didn't have my flatware - Eternal

Saturday evening, I went out to the suburbs for Bryan's nephew, Michael's, 5th birthday party. I gave him a 4x4 truck that you pull back and it goes on its own. Bryan got him an art set so he can draw pictures and paint.

Yesterday, Bryan and I rode the train into the city, since I stayed with him Saturday night after Michael's party. We went to the Art Institute for several hours and then rode the train back to the suburbs. I wanted Bryan to go to the doctor with me this morning, so I stayed there again last night. And now it's back at work for another week. I'm taking Friday off this week so that I have a four-day weekend. :)

I've been so busy at work and in life in general. Work is so weird right now. I'll write more when I know what's really going on.

I tried on many wedding dresses with Brandi and Meredith last weekend. I found two that I really like. I would post them here but then Bryan might read this and see them. If you really really want to see them, email me and I'll email them to you.

Bryan, Meredith and I went to see Winged Migration on Saturday. It was really great.

Bryan and I are starting to figure out where we're going to live. We're moving in together in August.

My knitting is somewhat infrequent. When I'm home I'm not really in the mood to knit since my thumb still hurts part of the time.
